Submissions now closed for 2019 Washington State Book Award
Just a quick update: The deadline for submitting books for the 2019 Washington State Book Award (for books published in 2018) was December 1, 2019.
We thank you for completing the online submission form and for sending copies of your book to our awards office at The Seattle Public Library. There is no need to email to ask if your books were received. If we have your online submission but your books were not received, we will contact you or your publisher directly.
Finalists will be contacted in June of 2019 and this site will be updated with a list of all finalists.
Look for the 2020 Washington State Book Awards (for books published in 2019) to open for submissions in winter of 2019. We are currently evaluating the categories and author eligibility criteria. There will be changes for the 2020 awards cycle.
